A pop banger is coming.

So that’s why Dua delayed her album.

Dua Lipa’s moment is finally happening. She currently has 3 songs in the Top 15 of the UK charts, thanks to her collaborations with Sean Paul (“No Lie“) and Martin Garrix (“Scared to be Lonely“) climbing high.

Although, just last month it was announced her self-titled debut was moved from February to June. Why?

“Basically I wanted to get some features on the album,” she told Official Charts earlier this week. “So that’s why I’m here [in L.A.] “I’ve been working lots, writing some more, finishing off the album… I’ve been working with some amazing people. A couple of things have happened where I’ve had to stop and pinch myself.”

Like… MNEK? The two singers posted a number of pictures and videos from a late night studio session. The videos were muted (sigh) but MNEK’s moves confirmed they’d just made a banger.

Exciting! MNEK is the production wizard with the midas touch but also has a huge set of pipes, so whether he’s just on the beats or if this is a full-scale singing collab it is sure to be massive.

Duo’s single “Be The One” is out now, and MNEK is featured on The Knocks’ brilliant new single “Worship.”

we don't give a ****. @dualipa
