Did you tune in to catch the “Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour” special on NBC Sunday night? Me neither. Apparently not many did.
Despite the copious amount of promotion, the “4×4” singer failed to draw in a large audience.
Sunday’s two-hour spotlight drew a mere 1.4 overnight household rating, starting out with a 1.7 from 9-9:30PM before dropping to a 1.5, 1.3 and 1.3 in its subsequent half hours.
It earned a 0.7 in adults 18-49.
To put things into perspective, last Sunday’s Last Comic Standing was up 36% from Miley’s special in the same time slot.
At the end of the day numbers are just numbers. Time to trade in the tongue wagging for something else?
