Miley Cyrus Video Labeled "Slave 4 U" 2.0

Girl, you in danger.

A writer felt the wrath of Britney fans after comparing Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” music video to the iconic and legendary “Slave 4 U” vid AKA committing Britney Army blasphemy.

The quote:

The “We Can’t Stop” video is a major piece in the rebranding puzzle for Cyrus, and is comparable to the moment Britney Spears bluntly finished her “not a girl, not yet a woman” phase as a 19-year-old in the “I’m a Slave 4 U” video 12 years ago. Actually, “We Can’t Stop” already looks like it will be a bigger hit than “I’m a Slave 4 U,” debuting at No. 11 on the Hot 100 (“Slave” only got to No. 27). Miley Cyrus 2.0 has arrived — and with a music video that’s a gloriously off-kilter representation of her newfound adulthood.

The writer responded to fans on Twitter:

I’ll give it to Miley, that video and song is sick, but nothing can touch Slaaaave.
