To “everyone who experienced that horrific attack yesterday.”

And sometimes I get so scared of what I can’t understand.

The world is still trying to piece together reasons why the senseless tragedy that took place at Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman concert in Manchester on Monday happened at all. That includes Miley Cyrus, who dedicated her new performance of “Malibu” on The Voice to Grande and “and everyone who experienced that horrific attack yesterday.”

“Our hearts are with you,” she said.

On Monday, Miley shared a message on Instagram: “wishing I could give my friend @arianagrande a great big hug right now… love love love you …. so sorry you had to be apart of such a tragic event! my most sincere condolences to anyone and everyone affected by this horrific attack! all I can do is send as much HOPE & PEACE your way! This MUST end! No more war …. no more innocent lives taken …. L-O-V-E”
