Michelle Obama Enlists Missy, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland & More On “This Is For My Girls”

The song serves as a tool to spread the Obama administration’s Let Girls Learn initiative.

Michelle Obama organized an all-star girl power anthem titled “This Is For My Girls.”

The First Lady of the United States upped her squad game when she enlisted Zendaya, Missy Elliott, Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae, Kelly Clarkson, Chloe & Halle, Jadagrace and Lea Michele for an empowering song that’ll help spread the Obama administration’s Let Girls Learn initiative. The song, co-written by Diane Warren (“Til It Happens To You”), encourages “more than 62 million girls around the world” to complete their education, reports Billboard.

The jazzy tune arrives just in time for the First Lady’s appearance at SXSW on Wednesday, where she’ll be joined by some famous friends, including Missy Elliott, Dianne Warren, Sophia Bush and Queen Latifah.
