Michael Jackson Debuts New Music Video For "A Place With No Name"

Though his physical presence passed years ago, Michael Jackson continues to live on through his music. He released a music video for “A Place With No Name” off his “XSCAPE” album Wednesday night.

The clip debuted premiered in Times Square then exclusively on Twitter. Director Samuel Bayer uses outtakes from Jackson’s 1991 video “In The Closet” by Herb Ritts. Bayer then filmed new footage of a couple playing out the “A Place With No Name” lyrics.

Jackson recorded the song in 1998.

Producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jenkins, who worked on Xscape, told Rolling Stone:

“I’m sure there are a few more great things out there and, hopefully, we’ll all have a chance to hear them.”
