17 years after its release, Mariah Carey’s Glitter makes a comeback.

Mimi’s Glitter soundtrack, the album supporting the 20001 film of the same name detailing her own personal journey from rags to riches, just topped iTunes’ Top Albums Chart. That’s right, ladies and gents. Glitter is No. 1.
Marked at $4.99, the LP now surpasses A Star Is Born,The Greatest Showman and the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtracks. The Lambs win.
At the time, Glitter was a commercial failure. It was released the same day as 9/11 and amidst Carey’s erratic public behavior, so it never took off light it should have.
Mariah caught wind of the initiative. She hopped on Twitter and said #JusticeForGlitter. Talent recognizing talent.
