Madame X is a… performer.

Madonna kicked off her first intimate Madame X show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House on Tuesday (September 17).

There isn’t much footage from the initial show. Madonna employed a no cell-phone / cameras policy to ensure attendees could escape from their reality and enter the world Madonna created for them.

The Queen of Pop was slated to go on at 8:30 pm, but didn’t take the stage til around 10:45 pm.

As expected, Madonna highlighted a bunch of cuts from her most-recent record, including “God Control,” “Dark Ballet” and the Maluma-assisted, “Medellín.” She sang several classics, like “Papa Don’t Preach,” “Like A Prayer” and even “Frozen.”
