Madame X is… a perfectionist.

The Queen of Pop is delaying the opening dates of her Madame X Tour.

The show was originally scheduled to kick off at Brooklyn’s BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, originally scheduled for Sept. 12 and 14, but will now take place Oct. 10 and 12.

The September 15th date was cancelled altogether – fans who originally planned on attending that show are getting a refund.

The other BAM dates begin on Sept. 17 and run through Oct. 12.

Madonna’s other tour includes residencies in Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia and Miami before wrapping up Dec. 19.

According to Page Six, the new schedule is the aftermath of “highly specialized production elements being delayed.”

“Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience,” Madonna said in a statement. “She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding.”

If the highest-grossing solo performer ever needs more time, then she gets more time.
