Judge Dismisses Lutfi’s Defamation Lawsuit

November 2, 2012 By Jordan Miller

A judge dismissed Sam Lutfi’s lawsuit Thursday against the Spears because he failed to prove his libel and breach-of-contract claims, reports the Associated Press.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Suzanne Bruguera felt there wasn’t sufficient evidence to send to the jury.

The self-proclaimed manager of Britney sued the Spears for $960,000, or what he felt he should’ve earned as Britney’s manager during his stint as her representation. He also denied allegations in Lynne’s book, “Through The Storm,” that he gave Britney drugs. Lutfi requested Britney’s medical records for that time period in an attempt to prove he was a good influence, but the judge denied his request, saying: “I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with that information.”

Lutfi left the courtroom without speaking to reporters, looking emotionless, and said “I’m going to appeal.”
