Lizzo is bringing **** back.

“Truth Hurts” topped the Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks before dipping to #2 this week (Iggy Azalea’s record for longest running #1 by a female rapper is safe for now). All the success hasn’t slowed Lizzo though – she’s teaming up with pop veteran Justin Timberlake on new music.

Earlier in the year, JT hopped on social media to share a clip of a track he’s making with Lizzo. On the snippet, Lizzo can be heard repeatedly chanting the words, “get back” over a pounding beat.

“I just called my publishers and I said, ‘You know, I just want to work with young, fresh people, and I want to collaborate more,” Timberlake tells ET of how he linked up with Lizzo. “I’ve been songwriting and producing for so long — I want to experience that energy, and I want to work with people that I think are truly amazing.”

He added: “I think she thought I was lying, but we got in and we got a couple of ideas,” he teased. “I’m not going to tell you too much about what we did together in the studio. If she wants to tell you she can, but it’s flames. It is so good. I am so excited about it.”

  1. It became “the longest-running #1 single by a solo female rapper in history”… I think the difference is Iggy’s is a collab? I’m not sure… *shrugs*
