As CEO of her own label On Repeat Records, Little Boots (real name Victoria Hesketh) is celebrating her ventures as an independent business owner with another professional synth-pop release. Last year’s corporate-tinged album Working Girl, an ode to women who put their best foot forward in the business world, lends its roots in Boots’ new project, a two-track EP titled Afterhours. It’s an extension of her previous effort, and features a Richard X-produced song titled “Staring At The Sun” (below) and “Face To Face” with Sam Sparro.

Hesketh describes Afterhours as “the soundtrack for when the photocopier powers down and the office is locked up and you want to find somewhere to let your hair down and forget about the day.”
