Listen To Maroon 5's "It Was Always You"

Maroon 5 released a new song titled “It Was Always You” off their upcoming album “V” today, and it explores the theme of pay phones friends falling in love.

The track’s co-written and co-produced by Grammy winning team The Monsters and the Strangerz (Cher Lloyd, Big Sean, Carly Rae Jepsen). It’s a slight departure from their usual rock vibe with the electro elements. No complaints here!

“It was always you / Now I know why my heart wasn’t satisfied / It was always you / No more guessing who,” the signer pleads in the chorus, actually depicting the sort of search for love that was previously teased in “Maps.”

I really love this song. Listen for yourself here:
