Listen To A Bit Of Camila Cabello’s Scrapped Ed Sheeran-Penned Song “The Boy”

“It was great, but it sounded like it [belonged] on a different album.”

Camila Cabello left her Ed Sheeran-penned track “The Boy” on the cutting room floor.

Most artists would jump at the chance to feature a song written by Ed on their debut album, but not Camila. She teamed up with the Divide singer on an upbeat bop titled “The Boy,” but after careful consideration, she decided to leave it off Camila. Toodles!

“I rewrote a lot of the lyrics, and the lyrics were actually so funny and the song was so great. He’s incredible,” she said in a new interview on the Zach Sang Show. “It was great, but it sounded like it [belonged] on a different album.”

Camila also teased a bit of “The Boy.” Check that out below:

And, fortunately, the moment Camila told Ed “The Boy” didn’t make the album was filmed and uploaded for all of us to gawk at. Ed was cool about it, but you just know he walked back to his dressing room seething.
