Pill pop emergency!

Mykonos is about to rage, cause Lindsay Lohan just dropped a new tune.

The song is titled “Xanax,” featuring contributions from ALMA. “Xanax” is a bop about coping with social anxiety. Needless to say it’s problematic singing about prescription pills considering Lindsay’s past issues with sobriety, as well as the ongoing prescription pill crisis in the US, but we love a little controversy?

“No I can’t be in this club / it’s too crowded and I’m f–ked’ / Ain’t nobody here for love / ain’t no body care about us,” she sings over a thumping beat and icy background vocals chanting “ohh ohh.” It reportedly samples “Better Off Alone” by Alice DJ.

Lindsay soundtracked the song to clips of important things in her life, which absolutely does not fit the vibe but I can respect a budget.

“Family, love, the process of moving forward and letting go of the past,” she writes. ‘To live and be happy, free of fear. Just to be grateful and open our eyes to our opportunities instead of numbing the mind.”
