Larry Rudolph continues to open up to the press about Britney’s Circus success, this time with BFF Entertainment Tonight.

When asked about Britney’s second single “Circus,” Larry says: “I believe that that’s the best song she has had in the past five years.” – Guess he didn’t hear “Gimme More!” Actually, that makes sense – he was cut off at that time.

“There are songs that you hear that just slap you across the face and that’s what ‘Circus’ is, continues Larry. “It is an undeniable smash!”

“At the end of the day, I think she is America’s pop princess, and the world’s pop princess, and this just reconfirms it to everyone who doubted it,” said Larry to the Associated Press yesterday.

Rudolph credits the documentary “For The Record” as a piece that shows Britney’s fans just who she really is, saying: “The documentary had a huge role,” said Rudolph. “People were able to see Britney, to see her tell her story. I think they got the true sense of who she is, and they appreciated it.”

“People love Britney Spears.”

Barry Weiss, chairman and CEO of the BMG Label Group, which includes Spears’ label also had kind words about Britney, saying “This is going to reinforce her icon status. It’s not just a No. 1 album.”

That’s great and all, but let’s hear Britney talk!
