Lana Del Rey's "High By The Beach" Soars Up The Charts

Congratulations are in order for Lana Del Rey.

Her new song off the Honeymoon record lands at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, marking the second highest debut on the chart this year after One Direction’s “Drag Me Down,” which soared to No. 3 in its first week. The song also gets a No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart with 248,000 downloads.

Del Rey’s stunning visual for the song certainly helped rocket the song to the top.

OMI’s “Cheerleader” returns to the top of the charts this week, though we’re not sure why. The song is pop magic and utter garbage at the same time. Hopefully “High By The Beach” can creep up the Top 10 as the months cool off and remain our life’s theme song into fall.

In case you missed it, check out her breezy visual that takes a violent turn when she guns down a paparazzo flying a helicopter nearby.
