Lana and chill to Jonathan Wilson’s new Rare Birds track “Living With Myself.”

I want you to read this carefully: Lana Del Rey and Father John Misty appeared lustfully in love together in Lana’s video for Honeymoon track, “Freak.”

Misty said he’d do anything the singer told him to do, which is very endearing.

The Mist also frequently collaborates with singer-songwriter, Jonathan Wilson, whom he called his “secret weapon.” Wilson helped him with all three of his solo albums.

Things have come full circle now. Wilson tapped Lana for a new song off his new album, Rare Birds. It’s called “Living With Myself,” a dreamy, self-reflective slow-tempo song that’s as warm as it is airy.

Lana’s presence is minimal on it, but shines on the parts she’s featured in (she handles the background vocals). I can’t think of a better way to listen to “Living With Myself” than driving down the coast with the windows down. How very Lana.

You may listen to a preview of it below. The entire album is available to stream right now on NPR (Lana’s track is #10).
