Stairway to heaven.

Lana Del Rey has a new song for us.

It’s titled “Coachella – Woodstock in my Mind,” a socially charged tune she wrote after experiencing “complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whilst watching tensions w North Korea mount.” She teased a bit of it in a video on Instagram, but there’s a studio version available in select countries (and everywhere at midnight). “I find It’s a tightrope between being vigilantly observant of everything going on in the world and also having enough space and time to appreciate God’s good earth the way it was intended to be appreciated,” she continued.

The song comes on the heels of the news that North Korea is carrying out ballistic missile launches in the Pacific, including one test today.

“I was at Coachella leaning on your shoulder watching your husband swinging time / I guess I was in it because baby for a minute it was Woodstock in my mind,” Lana sings over brooding production and a frenetic clap. “I’d trade it all for a stairway to heaven / I take my time before I climb up to the top of it / I trade the fame and the fortune in the west / I give it all away if you give me just one day to ask him one question.”

Lana’s forthcoming album Lust For Life is rumored to drop May 26. No word if “Coachella – Woodstock in my Mind” will make the record or if it’s a one-off.
