Turning out to be a real summer bummer.

Lost Lust For Life is turning out to be a summer bummer.

Lana dropped by Apple Music’s Radio 1 show to premiere two A$AP Rocky collabs today. In her interview with host Zane Lowe, the singer was asked about a couple of tracks that fans had hoped would make the album: “Yosemite” and “Roses Bloom For You.”

“This is so me. ‘Yosemite’ is a track I talked about in all my interviews and online and whatever and now it’s just not on the record.” Why? “It was too happy. We’re not there yet,” she said before admitting that that thought was kind of “weird.”

“I’m getting to the place that I’m singing about in Yosemite, and I’m just not there yet.”

Here’s Lana Del Rey’s Lust For Life Tracklist.

She adds: “I think I thought by the end of this record I’d be in a totally different spot. A little bit of a 180 – like we’re in this super clear zone, and then I realized I’m still figuring out so much stuff. ‘Yosemite’ was more of like this idealistic return to nature zone that I’ve dipped into personally…”
