It gets better! Gaga will also contribute original music to her upcoming Bradley Cooper-directed/starring remake of A Star Is Born.
According to Grammy Award winning songwriter, Diane Warren, she and Gaga have created another gorgeous slow song together for it. You may recall the two teamed up together on “Till It Happens To You,” which won an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
Speaking with MusicWeek, Warren said said she isn’t against co-writing with another artist, just isn’t a fan of writing camps. That’s when she dropped the bomb:
“I wrote something with Lady Gaga that’s coming this year,” Warren said. “So, every now and then, I’ll write with somebody. But I won’t get in those rooms. I won’t go to a writing camp and sit with five people on a track.”
GagaDaily confirms the track will land on the A Star Is Born soundtrack, and claims the song is titled “I Will Never Love Again,” and describes it as a “massive power ballad.” My life theme song does exist.
This is very promising. Warren is obviously an exceptional songwriter (as is Gaga), and has penned tunes for a Whitney Houston, Britney Spears,Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, TLC, Aaliyah, Elton John, Cher, Tina Turner, Bryan Adams, Selena, Olivia Newton-John, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Michael Bolton, NSYNC, Gloria Estefan, Reba McEntire, Enrique Iglesias, Paloma Faith, Russell Watson, Rod Stewart, RBD, Aerosmith, The Cult, Kiss, Ricky Martin, Faith Hill, Meat Loaf, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Exposé, Leigh Nash of Sixpence None the Richer and LeAnn Rimes. Did your head explode?
