Lady Gaga is primed and ready in rehearsals for her Las Vegas show, Enigma.
On Friday (Dec. 28), Lady Gaga will kick off her first-ever Las Vegas residency (BreatheHeavy will be in attendance, so check back for the review this weekend). We don’t know much about Enigma, but it’s safe to assume we’re in for a visual and audio feast.
A group of lucky fans from Japan got inside access ahead of premiere night. They reportedly won a contest that gave them a sneak peek at what Little Monsters can expect from Enigma, including an up-close-and-personal performance of A Star Is Born standout track, “Shallow.” The song is up for multiple awards in 2019, including Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, and received four nominations at the upcoming Grammys, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
Her gorgeous rendition matched the studio version of the track, but it was all live. We’re in for a treat! And much to the delight of fans, LG’s look served ARTPOP vibes. It’s a promising sign that our fav is leaving Lady for the jazz shows and unleashing Gaga for Enigma.
