Lady Gaga gave an impromptu performance of some Frank Sinatra standards.
This is one of the reasons I love Gaga. She doesn’t perform because of some contractual obligation. She does it because she genuinely loves to, and it shows. Especially on nights like these.
Gaga surprised jazz enthusiasts at a special event hosted by Fred Durst (yes, “Nookie” Fred Durst) at the Black Rabbit Rose cocktail bar in Hollywood. She covered Sinatra’s “Call Me Irresponsible” and “Fly Me To The Moon.”
“My whole life, you know, I’ve been called irresponsible,” she told the intimate audience. “It doesn’t make me so mad because it’s kind of true… and I like to hear the truth.”
