Fresh off Enigma, Lady Gaga cools off Las Vegas with her intimate Jazz & Piano show.
Only Lady Gaga could eclipse a lunar eclipse, but the pop star did just that at her second Las Vegas show on Sunday.
Fresh off the heels of Enigma, the Oscar winner invited fans back for a second show – this time performing a string of jazz standards and re-interpretations of some of her most iconic songs, including “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” and “Born This Way.”
Gaga also surprised the audience with an appearance from Tony Bennett –– they performed a few duets together off their No. 1 album, Cheek To Cheek.
Let’s take a second to give Mother Monster mad props for performing two different shows back-to-back. I’ve seen several of Gaga’s jazz shows in recent history, and they’re a special treat. Sure, Gaga crooning “Lush Life” doesn’t pack a punch like her performance of “Scheiße” does, but it’s not supposed to. Her versatility is unmatched, and is a first not just in Vegas… but anywhere.
