This weekend marked 10 years since Lady Gaga released her debut smash single, “Just Dance.”

This weekend marked 10 years since Lady Gaga released her debut smash single, “Just Dance.”

Where has the time gone? Over the weekend, I turned 30-years-old, which coincidentally was the 10-year-anniversary of Mother Monster’s iconic Akon and RedOne-produced first release. I feel old.

“I can’t believe it’s been ten years since the release of Just Dance,” Gaga wrote on social media of the 8x Platinum track. “It’s very emotional and I am so grateful to little monsters for sticking by me all these years. Cheers to many more, filled with love & bravery to be yourself. I love you so so much .”

Elsewhere, she wrote: “What a wild ride the last decades been. To every little monster on the planet who feels different. So do I. And we have each other. Forever.”
