Lady Gaga has abruptly ended the Joanne World Tour due to complications from chronic pain.

The pop star notified fans that her fifth headlining tour must come to an end, cancelling scheduled shows in London, Manchester, Zurich, Cologne, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris and Berlin, due to her ongoing battle with fibromyalgia.

“I’m so devastated I don’t know how to describe it,” she wrote in a note to Little Monsters on Instagram.

“All I know is that if I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. My medical team is supporting the decision for me to recover at home.”

Gaga revealed her struggle with chronic pain last year in her candid documentary, Five Foot Two, and despite ongoing treatment, it took its toll.

“I love this show more than anything, and I love you, but this is beyond my control,” she added.

“I promise I will be back in your city, but for now, I need to put myself and my well-being first.”
