Lady Gaga And RedOne Are Making New Music

January 15, 2015 By Ross

Get ready for The Gaga Renaissance.

Yes, it’s really happening. Lady Gaga just gave fans the most exciting news imaginable: she has reunited with RedOne in the studio.. and they’re there right now!

Earlier today the “Applause” diva teased that she was going to the studio “to see an old friend” before revealing the screech-worthy secret identity on Instagram. It may be the ex-Little Monster in me crying out but my heart almost exploded when I scrolled down my phone and saw the picture.

For those of you who are not entirely aware of how huge this news is, RedOne produced “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “LoveGame,” “Alejandro” and is responsible for the still-incredible “Bad Romance” so essentially nobody is safe and we can start looking forward to a world without a Meghan Trainor or an Igloo Australia once again.

Gaga confirmed she was working on her fourth (jazz-free) studio album in December and has already been in the studio with Diane Warren – the music legend behind Queen B’s “When Your Eyes Say It” – which was already exciting but anticipation (and expectation) has shot up incredibly now that we know RedOne is back on the scene.

The pair last collaborated on “ARTPOP” when RedOne co-wrote “Gypsy” but he has not produced a song since the “Born This Way” album. So, with four years of catching up to do, let’s hope they can make more of the magic they gave us back in “The Fame” and “Fame Monster” days (no Tony or vomit painting, please.)

I can’t sleep without every single song I’m writing repeating endlessly, but I’m loving it again.

I’m sure I speak on behalf of all pop music lovers when I say that I am VERY excited about this news! Hopefully we won’t be waiting too long to hear what they’re cooking up together.

Here’s a friendly reminder of what Gaga and RedOne are capable of together, without any help:
