Kesha will paint the world with a deluxe version of Rainbow.

It’s been a tumultuous couple of years for the pop star, but things are looking up. While she continues to sort out her legal troubles with Dr. Luke, the “Let Em Talk” singer is trudging forward.

The record was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Pop Vocal Album category, “Praying” got a nod in the Best Pop Solo Performance category, and she just announced a joint tour with Macklemore. It’s also worth mentioning Kesha is reportedly releasing “Woman” as the next single, which will be interesting to see how she promotes it considering she already released it with a video, but that’s for another post.

The good news does not stop there. According to the man who mixed Rainbow, Jon Castelli, there’s a Deluxe version on the way and it will feature new music.

“Kesha’s A&R offered me another seven songs to mix, three of which also ended up on the album,” he says in a recent interview. “Two more of the tracks I mixed will come out on a deluxe version of the album.”

Castelli never mentions that they are two NEW songs, but it’s safe to assume from his statement that they are. It doesn’t make much sense to re-release an album without new material, but this is 2017 where nothing makes sense so take this with a grain of salt.

Rainbow is one of the best records of the year. I’m glad she’s giving it lots of light.
