Kesha’s making a comeback.

The singer’s last record, Rainbow, was a folky-pop-rock album featuring songs that touched on ultra serious aspects of Kesha’s personal life, namely her ongoing sexual assault lawsuit with producer Dr. Luke. For the next LP, Kesha is ripping a page from her earlier chapters; the new tunes are mega pop songs.

In a new cover story with Billboard, Kesha says “it’s the happiness that I began my career with, but it feels more earned and healthier than ever.”

Here are some sample lyrics:  “We get it that you’ve been through a lot of s–t, but life’s a *****, so come and shake your **** and f–k it/You’re the party girl, you’re the tragedy, but the funny thing is, I’m f–king everything.”

Kesha tapped Jeff Bhasker (Harry Styles, Bruno Mars), Macklemore’s Ryan Lewis (“Praying,” “Good Old Days”), Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds,Justin Tranter (Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez), Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande’sThank U, Next) and fun.’s Nate Ruess.

“[I am] writing the **** out of some pop songs,” she says. “I dug through the emotional wreckage, and now I can go back to talking a little bit of ****. I really wanted to put a solid footprint back into pop music, like, ‘I can do this, and I can do this on my own.’ I don’t know if this is my last pop record, but I want to have one where I go out with a bang.”

The new album reportedly arrives in December.
