Considering the political landscape, it’s safe to say that more than half of America is stressed the hell out. In efforts to offer a temporary escape to the madness, Kesha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX, Bleachers and a string of other stars are banding together to support the LGBTQ community for the Talent Show, an annual benefit concert/comedy show in New York City.
Last week, the Ally Coalition announced the Rachel Antonoff-hosted show to support New Alternative’s goal to raise awareness and support for homeless LGBTQ youth in the Big Apple. The show, which will be held at the Grand Ballroom of Webster Hall on December 12, is the third installment of the event. Additional acts include Lauren Mayberry (of CHVRCHES), Andrew Dost (fun., Anathallo), Mike Birbiglia, Hasan Minhaj, Lena Dunham and Jordan Carlos.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale, but users need a promo code to cop. They’re priced between $45.00 – $200.00. VIP packages for the event are also available and include priority entry, a balcony ticket as well as admission to the official VIP after party.
