Kelly Rowland Is Feeling Herself On New Bedroom Banger, “Kelly”

There’s no shortage of confidence on Kelly Rowland’s new self-titled song, “Kelly.”

Seemingly out of nowhere, Kelly dropped a new tune – her first in five years – since 2013’s Talk a Good Game album. The moody, trap-inspired mid-tempo finds the singer boasting about her luxurious life.

“Kelly got a house / big house on a hill / Kelly’s so blessed, thick, yes XL / Kelly ain’t,” Rowland sings over twinkly production and a brooding beat.

“Kelly ain’t got no chill / Kelly don’t really give a f–k how you feel / Kelly ain’t humble no mo’, n—- / Kelly got a foot on your throat, n—-.”

Choke us, Queen.

It appears this is the first taste of Kelly’s forthcoming album, which she describes as “happy.” I  don’t see it that way. It’s actually reminding me how much I haven’t accomplished and that I pay an exorbitant amount on rent. Thanks, Kelly.
