Clarkson has a bonafide hit on her hands with “It’s Quiet Uptown” off the No. 1 charting Hamilton Mixtape.

She performed the song on The Voice finale Tuesday night (Dec. 13), as well as a one-off performance on the Honda Stage at iHeartRadio NY. Backed only by a piano, Clarkson’s latest rendition features several extra riffs and extended notes.

During a previous interview, Clarkson, who’s a mom-of-two, explained the song is extra emotional because it centers around the scene where Alexander Hamilton and his wife Eliza Hamilton lose their son.
