Kelly Clarkson’s cover of “Never Enough,” off The Greatest Showman: Reimagined, is the best thing you’ll hear all day.
Kelly is one of many A-list acts included on the Reimagined soundtrack, and her rendition of “Never Enough,” originally performed by Loren Allred, is breathtaking.
The Meaning Of Life singer’s version is far more powerful than Loren’s (though the original remains unbothered). Kelly’s signature vocals climb over cinematic strings and a heavy beat.
“All the shine of a thousand spotlights / All the stars we steal from the night sky / Will never be enough, never be enough,” she sings. “Towers of gold are still too little / These hands could hold the world but it’ll / Never be enough, never be enough.”
The Reimagined album premieres on Nov. 16.
