Kelly Clarkson and Pentatonix celebrate the holidays with a joyous a cappella performance of a Christmas classic.
Pentatonix hosted their first-ever televised holiday extravaganza titled A Pentatonix Christmas Special on Wednesday, taking viewers on a musical journey as they sing some of their favorite Christmas tunes.
The group recently released A Pentatonix Christmas, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and features their cover of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” which they performed with Clarkson for the special.
In the clip, the group shows up to the “It’s Quiet Uptown” singer’s mansion “unannounced” and ask to sing with the soul singer. At first she admits she’s too busy watching Game of Thrones, but it’s all in good fun. She hops outside to sing “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” (in the middle of the group so she can hear, and because she’s a diva) and the rest is history. Please note, she didn’t actually let them inside her house at any point though (lulz).
