She’s ba-a-ck.

Kehlani The Cover Girl.

Kehlani discusses overcoming hardships, the importance of mental health and how music helped her heal in her just-released Galore cover shoot and interview.

The “Distraction” singer channels Rihanna’s recent Paper photoshoot with a high-fashion look in a convenience store but she makes it her own with a number of SweetSexySavage looks elsewhere.

Always candid and humble, she talks about the inspiration of her debut album in the accompanying interview, and acknowledges that she wishes to inspire with her music rather than dwell on the negative.

“I think people notice by now that I don’t really have any sad songs or songs that stay in the negative situation,” she says. “If they are talking about a negative situation, it’s usually like, ‘Well, I’m stronger now,’ or ‘I’m getting better now,’ or ‘I don’t want to feel like that again’.”

Kehlani will take her inspiration back on the road this month as she resumes her tour with some rescheduled shows after having to cancel due to health issues last month.

The first show will take place on April 16 and the tour will continue until July.
