Katy Perry's Super Bowl Performance Nominated For An Emmy, Stars In H&M Campaign

She also stars in H&M’s holiday campaign, is she readying her new record?

The 2015 Emmy nominations were announced via a live webcast Thursday morning, and Katy Perry was nominated in the Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program thanks to her Super Bowl Halftime performance! She’s also received 13 Grammy nominations in the past but never won, meaning if her halftime show takes home an Emmy, she’ll receive the prestigious television award before one from music.

She also announced her new involvement with H&M as the company’s star model for their holiday campaign out later this year. Perry announced the news via Instagram, saying:

“Ladies, Gentlemen & unlabeled- let’s take a petite pause on the beauteous summer we are experiencing & open our calendars tooooo…🎄🎁THE HOLIDAYS🎁🎄 I am excited to announce that I will be 🌟starring🌟in @hm’s #HappyandMerry Holiday Campaign launching later this year!!! Stay tuned for the whole unwrapping!”

Last year, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett started in H&M’s holiday campaign while promoting their jazz record “Cheek To Cheek.” We can only imagine Perry will follow suit and have new material up her sleeve in time for the launch.

Other nominations include Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek To Cheek LIVE! and The Voice for Production Design For Variety, Nonfiction, Reality or Reality-Competition Programming.
