Her manager confirms it.
Katy Kats will hear their idol roar once more in 2016.
No rest for the willing! Straight off the heels of her Prismatic World Tour, Katy Perry’s set to release a new record, despite telling the Associated Press earlier this year she plans on taking time off once the tour concludes (“I also think it’s important for me to maybe start reinventing myself. Because I can’t keep topping myself because I’ll just combust at some point.”).
Cue the “Firework” opening line.
When asked if she’d consider touring in India again, Perry’s manager, Steven Jensen, was quoted at the All That Matters press conference in Singapore this week as saying: “She loves India and she would like to come to India. She plans to release her next album by 2016, so we hope to bring her to India after that.”
Perry has yet to comment, but we’re sure she’s probably finding out about that not-so-little announcement the same time we are.
