The name was embroidered on the veil of her dress she wore to the Met Gala.

Katy Perry appeared in a bold Maison Margiela ‘Artisanal’ piece designed by John Galliano at the Met Gala on Monday (May 1). It was also her opportunity to reveal what fans still believe is the title for her forthcoming record: Witness.

The pop star had the name embroidered on the veil of her ensemble.

“We are all just looking for connection.”

Katy Perry is moving on from “Chained To The Rhythm.” In what she describes as her purposeful pop era, Perry has begun the promotional campaign for single number two. It is thought to be titled “Bon Appé***” and rumored to drop on Friday (she hasn’t confirmed either).

To gear fans up, the pop star sent out an e-blast with directions on how to bake a cherry pie. Keeping that same theme in mind, fans have begun to receive a physical menu and a “Chained” vinyl shipped to their homes. The menu is titled “TÉMOIN” which translates to “WITNESS” in English. You may recall Perry teased a song by that name earlier this year – now Katy Kats believe it’s the title of her forthcoming album.

The clips of the track were pulled from the Internet, but here are a few of the lyrics: “We are all just looking for connection,” she sings over a thumping beat. “Yeah we all want to be seen / I’m looking for someone who speaks my language / Someone to ride this ride…”

Check out the latest tease below:
