Well this is interesting! Sia and Katy Perry co-wrote and recorded a demo of a Diplo-produced song titled “Passenger” originally meant for Perry’s 2013 record Prism.

Ultimately, the pop star passed on it and handed it over to Britney Spears, who ~recorded~ her version of it for 2013’s Britney Jean with help producer Anthony Preston (“Work *****”) and singer Myah Marie, but in a magical turn of events, the Witness singer’s version mysteriously surfaced.

Katy’s recording doesn’t differ from Britney’s by much. There’s a couple of production differences and a few different ad libs (including some from Sia).

Copyright laws are steering us away from posting the demo, but a quick Google search of Katy+Perry+Britney+Spears+Passenger+Demo should do the trick.
