Stop trying to make fetch happen.

Katy Perry is NOT messing around this summer. She recently released “365” and “Never Really Over” (both with Zedd), but the pop star has more in store for us.

Perry recently filmed a music video for a song titled “Harleys In Hawaii,” a track inspired by a joyride with boyfriend Orlando Bloom in paradise, but before she puts that out she’s got a video for her new song “Small Talk” on the way (Friday, August 30th).

The vertical video for it featured exclusively on Spotify was the subject of criticism recently. It drew comparisons to Brood’s new album cover. Read more about that here.

Perry co-wrote “Small Talk” with Johan Carlsson, and tapped Charlie Puth and Jacob Kasher Hindlin for its production.

“I just can’t believe we went from strangers to lovers to strangers in a lifetime,” she sings over a sticky beat. “Now just memories.”
