She put the kids to work.
Katy Perry opened up the iHeartRadio Music Awards with a stomping performance of “Chained To The Rhythm.”
Showing off a Miley Cyrus-inspired new do, the newly-single singer ran on “the wheel of life” and bopped around the stage in a red pant suit while a bunch of kids worked on chaining up a teddy bear. The song’s feature collaborator, Skip Marley, made a brief on-stage appearance following Perry’s quick moment with Halsey. It wasn’t nearly as encapsulating as her stint at the BRITs, but it got the job done.
