“I may not ever feel the same nerves again,” she says.

Katy Perry Gets Candid In Her Super Bowl Halftime Show Doc: WATCH

Does Katy Perry want a second go at the Super Bowl halftime show?

On the heels of the report that Bruno Mars might headline the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, Katy Perry is about to unveil a documentary that follows the pop titan on her journey as the entertainment for Super Bowl XLIX, which featured guest appearances from Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott and the Arizona State University Sun Devil Marching Band.

In the trailer for Katy Perry: Making of the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show, Katy and her team talk about the work and anticipation that led up to her 12 and half minute performance at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. There’s even a shot of Katy, Lenny and Missy all holding hands right before the ceremony as they send some pre-show prayers out to the universe. It’s basically everything that the 118.5 million viewers didn’t get to see. The John Hirsch-directed documentary takes from over 100 hours of footage and is set to premiere at the La Costa Film Festival at 4:30pm in Carlsbad, California later today.

We don’t really understand why this is coming out months after her performance, but it’s a nice treat for the Katy Cats out there as they patiently wait for her next era to gear up. Maybe she’ll be part of that rumored ~*collaborative*~ halftime show.
