Katy Perry says there will be a revolution.

Katy Perry says there will be a revolution.

The pop star was a major public supporter of Clinton’s, taking the stage several times in the last week to offer her support for the Presidential nominee.

During the midst of the electoral tallying, Perry told the somber crowd at Clinton’s HQ in New York City: “Let’s make bigotry history. Let’s make inequality history.”

Unfortunately, that’s not the case, and Donald Trump is the next President of the United States.

As a result, Perry switched her profile and header photo on Twitter to black, and Tweeted her 94 million followers to keep their heads up: “Do not sit still. Do not weep. MOVE. We are not a nation that will let HATE lead us.”

Sad day.
