Kanye West's Announcement To Run For President Prompted By Audience Member(?)

Kanye West: innovator, controversial, President?

Mr. West can’t take creative credit for causing a **** storm after he announced he wanted to run for President in 2020. It wasn’t his idea!

At the end of West’s 12-minute rant during his acceptance speech of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, he proclaimed his desire to run for president – which prompted a response from Donald Trump who personally feels he inspired the event – and gave us the most Tweeted about incident (after last year’ Super Bowl) ever. It really is that simple. Sadly, it makes you wonder if this style of borrowing is used in West’s music and we’re just too unaware amidst the social media cloud to see things for what they are.
