Kanye West Is Unmanageable, Predicted To Sell 275K

February 10, 2016 By Jordan Miller

Kanye West parted ways with Roc Nation.

Kanye West thrives in controlled chaos (which he creates for himself).

West is mere days away from dropping his untitled new LP, and is encouraging fans to guess the title from these four letters: T.L.O.P. He’s also looking for 1200 extras to participate in his album launch and Yeezy Season 3 fashion show at Madison Square Garden on Thursday (Feb. 11). The album will feature collaborations from Kendrick Lamar, Sia, Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign and, according to early estimates from HDD, could move 275,000 units in its opening week.

Despite his recent frenzied rants on Twitter (re: Wiz Khalifa, Bill Cosby), it looks like his detailed plans are coming to fruition thanks to… himself? HDD is also reporting West is now managing himself and split ways with Roc Nation. This prompted a few valid questions from the industry site: “Will Def Jam be working a single upon release? How will the digital download bundles be tabulated in his first-week total? Will the title-TBA album be available for streaming? If so, where? West was initially part of the Tidal group of stars but was later wooed away by Apple. Will Cupertino get an exclusive? Might Kanye instead hold off for at least a few weeks to focus consumers on buying the set? How long before a tour is announced?”

Only West knows the answers.

On New Year’s Eve, West dropped his first T.L.O.P. song “Facts,” followed by “Real Friends” and “No More Parties in L.A.” featuring Kendrick Lamar. He promised via Kim Kardashian a new song every Friday, but after a few short weeks, that plan fell through.
