Things may be quiet over in camp Timberlake right now, but that hasn’t stopped JT landing another milestone award.

The second annual iHeartRadio Awards are just around the corner, and in an effort to generate a bit of buzz, the online radio platform turned live music connoisseurs have announced that Justin Timberlake is taking home the Innovator Award at the ceremony on March 29.

Get all the details below the cut:

Following his critically acclaimed return to music in 2013 with ‘The 20/20 Experience’ (which shifted a monumental 968,000 copies in the US alone during it’s first week of sales), Timberlake took home 2013’s MTV Video Vanguard Award and now he’s got another lifetime achievement award to add to his shelf.

Speaking to the dream-ruiners over at Billboard magazine, iHeartMedia president of national programming platforms Tom Poleman had this to say of the “Suit and Tie” hitmaker:

“Justin is one of the most dynamic artists of our lifetime, a visionary whose influence on pop culture starts with brilliant music and stretches well beyond.”

And another bigwig from iHeartMedia, president of entertainment enterprises, John Sykes added that:

“Even given all his success to date, I think he is only at the beginning of one of the great careers in entertainment.”

Which is an interesting thing to say of Timberlake, given that we know nothing of his plans for a fifth studio album and might hint at another project in the works?

It’s also interesting to see Justin take home this award after Pharrell scooped the same category last year given that the two artists operate in a very similar medium. You might have thought that iHeartRadio would try and switch things up this year and go for someone of a completely different style, but JT’s a fine choice nonetheless.

In fact, let’s celebrate with “LoveStoned”, which is still Timberlake’s best track, incase you were curious:

The show airs March 29 at 8pm (EST) on NBC with performances from Rihanna, Sam Smith and Madonna. No word yet on whether Justin will be taking the stage to celebrate his win.

What do you think of Justin’s latest accolade?
