Justin Bieber abruptly cancelled the remainder of his Purpose Tour on Monday. Paparazzi caught the pop star walking around in Santa Monica hours after the announcement and asked him point-blank why he decided to cut it short. “Everything’s fine. I’ve been on tour for two years. Yeah, just resting, getting some relaxation. Gonna ride some bikes,” he said. Biebs also offered an apology: “I love you guys. You guys are awesome. And I’m sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or like, betrayed. It’s not in my heart or anything.”

Original reports claimed he was “just over it.”

TMZ is singing a different tune now. They’re claiming via a source at the Hillsong Church that Bieber axed the final 14 shows because he’s “rededicated his life to Christ.” They’re labeling it a “religious enlightenment.”

I’m having trouble finding the correlation, but sure.

They also mention Bieber’s tour crew is “incredibly pissed off at him” because they’re losing out on income without any warning.

I wonder what John Mayer has to say about this…
