Check out his performance of “What Do You Mean” plus he blows up at a cameraman. Sigh.
Rain or shine, Justin Bieber is still number one.
Despite the poor weather, Bieber stopped by the TODAY Show on Thursday (Sep. 10) in New York City to perform his chart topping hit single “What Do You Mean,” his Jack Ü collaboration “Where Are Ü Now”, Believe’s “As Long As You Love Me” and “Boyfriend,” and an acoustic version of his first single “Baby.”
“It just feels so great to feel the acceptance,” Bieber said in the interview following the performance. “I just feel judged and it’s hard, but I’m feeling more confident lately,” he said.
A huge confidence boost? Being the youngest male artist to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart… ever.
“I didn’t leave, but I took some time to do some soul-searching,” Bieber said when asked of his absence from music. Bruno Mars was recently offered the Super Bowl halftime once more, but who knows… maybe Bieber would do it. “I’d be interested. I’m down.”
Towards the end, Bieber got extremely aggravated when the camera man was in his face during the entire performance. “Next time I won’t dance because the camera’s here the whole time. Might as well not dance. What do I do this for if they’re just gonna…” he said, before the show cut away to commercial.
We missed you, Biebs:
