Bieber says, “I am a relationship type of guy, I love to be in love and I love cuddling.”
Justin Bieber might feel on top right now, but that wasn’t always the case.
‘LEAVE BIEBER ALONE,’ screams my inner-fangirl to haters knocking the Biebs these days. The 21-year-old has worked hard to get back into the spotlight for the right reasons, and we applaud that. He might still make questionable choices, like riding around like this in his SUV in New York City, but didn’t we all do dumb **** at 21?
Bieber landing atop the charts today with “What Do You Mean” reminds us how far he’s come, but it took some soul searching after his breakup with ex Selena Gomez for him to get there. During his new interview with Kyle and Jackie O on Australia’s KIIS FM show, the hosts ask him about the “Selena Gomez” graffiti seen in his latest “What Do You Mean” video, and it’s news to him.
“Oh, what are you talking about,” he questioned. “Because I think what you’re talking about is fake?”
They push the subject a bit further and Bieber admits he’s just taking things slow right now after getting his heart broken.
“I haven’t been in a relationship for a while now. I’m chilling and just hanging out. Just being by myself.” He continued, “I am a relationship type of guy, I love to be in love and I love cuddling and I love all of that kind of stuff but I got my heart broken and so I’m just going to let that heal up.”
The hosts also mention he’s granted 250 wishes for the Make A Wish Foundation, and it’s because there’s no strings attached.
“With kids, they don’t want anything from me,” he said. “They’re not trying to pull a deal, they just want to have fun and enjoy the moment.”
Bieber adds his two cents as to why Michael Jackson was so fond of kids, saying “I think that’s a lot of the misconception that they had about Michael Jackson, is that he wanted to be around kids ’cause they were just innocent, and they never wanted anything from him. So I get what he — I don’t know if I believe all the stuff that is going on about Michael. But that’s just my opinion.”
