Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Julius premieres an infectious, electro-tinged new tune titled “Body Talk” on BreatheHeavy today (May 3).

Julius recently opened for Rae Sremmurd and Kyle, but the budding pop star is turning his attention to releasing fresh material following 2016’s “Save Me” off of his EP One.

“I had been writing a lot of serious songs and I just wanted to kind of loosen up and have fun,” Julius tells BH of the new tune. “‘Body Talk’ has more of a club feel than my other tracks, I tried making something people can dance to.”

“We might just fall in love,” he sings over warm synths and a pulsating beat crafted by producer Kontrabandz. “They don’t say fall in love. I never been one to listen to what they say though, right?”

He adds: “I want my fans to have as much fun listening to this song as I did making it. I stepped outside of my comfort zone a little when writing this song, and in doing so had a great time. That’s a good lesson to take away not only in music, but life in general. Sometimes by trying new things you can find your good at something or that you really enjoy it. If you don’t at least put yourself out there and make an attempt, you’ll never know.”
